Finance facts on Facebook for students
The Student Loans Company is running a series of regional social media surgeries throughout February and March.
Advisors will be on hand at dedicated time slots to give real-time advice to students and their parents on applying for funding in 2012/13.
Andy Shenton, regional student finance consultant, said: "We want to encourage all students & their sponsors to join our student finance surgeries.
 
"Our experienced advisors will be on hand to help with any questions relating to your student finance application or evidence, ahead of the application deadline dates.

"Our contact centres are open every day but many students prefer to use social media channels to ask questions and get real-time answers."
