The Student Loans Company, in conjunction with the Department
for Business, Innovation and Skills is again releasing provisional
statistics to show how Student Support applications for Higher
Education in England are progressing through the processing stages
and to show the payment status of applications in this cycle.
- The first release is published on
14 June 2012 and shows the status of applications for student
support as of 31 May 2012 (the deadline for applications from
prospective new students). It also shows the payment status of
those applications for maintenance support due at the start of
term. Although the processing of DSA applications follows a
different rhythm from the processing of other student finance
applications the additional table on Disabled Students Allowances
(DSA) applications is being included from the start of the series
rather than later as it was in previous years.
- The second release is published on
10 July 2012 and provides an update of the figures as of 30
June 2012 (the deadline for applications from continuing
students).
- The third release is published on
9 August 2012 and provides an update on the figures as of 31
July 2012
- The fourth release is published on
11 September 2012 and provides an update of the figures as of
31 August 2012.
- The fifth release is published on
9 October 2012 and provides an update of the figures as of 30
September 2012.
- The sixth release is published on
23 October 2012 and provides an update of the figures as of 14
October 2012.
