Why has this been sent to me?

We have sent this to you because HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) have informed us that they have no record of you:

  • currently being in employment in the UK
  • being required to complete a Self Assessment tax return
  • being in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance, Incapacity Benefit or an Occupational pension.

What do I need to do?

There are two forms with the pack, a Confirmation of Customer Details form (CNCD) and an Overseas Income Assessment Form (OVFA). You only need to return one.

Confirmation of Customer Details Form

Complete and return this form if any of the following apply:

  • You’re working in the UK.
  • You’re living in the UK but not working.
  • You’re living overseas for less than three months.

To help us process the form first time, make sure you know which information and evidence to return.

Overseas Income Assessment Form

Complete and return this form if:

  • You will be living overseas for a period of three months or more; regardless of whether you are working during this time.

To help us process the form first time, make sure you know which information and evidence to return.
